Queen excluders are great for keeping the queen out of your honey supers.

This metal-bound queen excluder is made with smooth stainless wire and features precision spacing to ensure that the worker bees can pass through easily, but the drones and queen can not. There are also techniques used where you use it as a queen includer, preventing the queen from escaping.
