Using the proven Hoffman frame and Langstroth hive, Alliance has produced a quality that is setting standards in the beekeeping industry. Alliance has a history spanning four generations of timber merchants in New Zealand and services markets on both sides of the equator. High quality Box/Finger jointed boxes are milled in New Zealand from kiln dried timber. The wood is free of any chemicals or oils. Ready for priming, oiling or painting, whatever method works for you! Alternatively, why not get us to hot dip with wax once it’s assembled.

Standard grade – These boxes contain only tight knots, often only visible on one side, which guarantees the integrity of the hive while providing a cheaper alternative to Premium.  There is always clearance between the knot and the edge of the body so there is no risk of edge cracking or fallout. These are a high performance/ low cost hives, the milling tolerances being identical to the Premium woodware, gives you a quality box with only visual imperfections.
