If you have a few seasons of beekeeping under your belt and are interested in producing a sought-after product without the mess of extraction, comb honey production may be for you. Comb honey is in very high demand, and processing Ceracell Rounds takes less time and effort than cut comb, and there's far less mess.

Included in this frame is all the components needed to start,  just add thin foundation to the frames

Harvest Time - Once the frames are full, simply take the rounds out and pop them into a case/container. The Foundation, Plastic Rings, and Cases are the consumables - these all need replacing with every harvest.

PLEASE NOTE: The Round containers are sold seperately - these are required when you harvest the comb. Simply place your filled ring into the container, add your label, and you are all done!

(Optional) Freeze Finished Comb - Some producers recommend freezing the comb sections for a couple of days in sealed plastic bags.  The reason for freezing is to kill any small wax moth eggs that may have been laid in the comb.  It would be very unappetizing should a customer buy a comb honey section and find a small grub crawling around. It is suggested freezing in a bag so that when you thaw them out again (leaving them in the bag when thawing out) you don’t get condensation on the comb section.
